August 9, 2012 (Thursday), all classes at all levels is still suspended in some areas of Metro Manila and nearby provinces due to heavy rains and flood brought by Southwest Monsoon (Hanging Habagat).

National Capital Region (Metro Manila)
- Manila – all levels
- Navotas – all levels
- Malabon – all levels
- Mandaluyong – all levels
- Makati – all levels
- Marikina – Classes suspended until Friday, Preschool to HS, Public schools
- Pasig- Classes suspended, Aug.9. All levels.
- Pasay – all levels until Aug 10
- Valenzuela – all private and public preschool, elementary and high school; all levels in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela & Valenzuela City Polytechnic College
Region 3
- Bocaue, Bulacan – all levels
- Calumpit, Bulacan – all levels
- Hagonoy, Bulacan – all levels
Region 4
- Antipolo, Rizal – all levels
- San Mateo, Rizal – all levels
Schools and Universities
- Ateneo de Manila – no classes in the Ateneo Grade School, High School and Loyola Schools
- Adamson University – no classes and work in all levels
- Claret School – no classes until Friday, August 10
- DLSU – will resume class and office work on August 13
- FEU – no classes in FEU Manila, Makati, East Asia College & Diliman.
- Jose Rizal University – all levels
- La Consolacion College Malolos – Classes suspended, Aug.9. All levels.
- PUP- all levels and OFFICE WORK in PUP Metro Manila Campuses remain SUSPENDED on Thursday, August 9..
- San Beda College – no classes in San Beda College Mendiola. No office works as well in both San Beda College Manila and Rizal tomorrow.
- St. Paul College QC- all levels and work suspended
- UA&P – classes tomorrow are cancelled.
- UP Diliman – no classes
- UST – no classes
Government Offices
- Pasig City: Gov’t offices, except emergency response closed, Aug.9.
