Sisterakas grosses 40.7 million on the first day topping the box office results on the festival opening day, beating other entries which include Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si Ako which ranked second with 29.5 million.
Sisterakas proves that the influenced of Kris Aquino, Ai Ai Delas Alas and Vice Ganda was effective to the movie goers, as we all know Enteng Kabisote movie franchise always drew more movie goers in the past MMFF.
