Remake of GMA 7′s Series ‘Anna Karenina’ Starts Airing in June

GMA-7 will do the remake of the hit 90s TV series, “Anna Karenina”.

The said remake will star Krystal Reyes as Anna, Barbie Forteza as Karen, and Joyce Ching as Nina.

Krystal will be paired with Julian Trono as Brix, Barbie will again be paired with Derrick Monasterio who play the role of Vincent, and Joyce will have as tandem Hiro Magalona as Bryan.

“Anna Karenina” started to air in Kapuso network from 1996-2002. And it was starred by young actress Antoinette Taus, Sunshine Dizon and Kim delos Santos as Anna, Karen and Nina respectively. The roles of Brix, Vincent and Bryan was originally played by Dingdong Dantes, Polo Ravales and Dino Guevarra.
