President Aquino Signed K to 12 Basic Education Program Into Law

The Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013 or the K to 12 Basic Education Program has been signed into law by His Excellency President Benigno S. Aquino III on May 15, 2013 Wednesday in Rizal Hall, Malacanang Palace.

This breakthrough in basic education will certainly bring the Department of Education to the President’s 10-point education agenda, the centerpiece of which is to enhance the curriculum and add two years to our public education cycle.

This is a much anticipated milestone for the public youth and for the entire Filipino nation.
