Palibhasa Tanghali will replaced Happy Yipee Yehey (HYY)?

ABS-CBN‘s noontime variety show “Happy Yipee Yehey” (HYY) is set to air its final episode on February 4, 2012 (read the official statement of  ABS-CBN on Happy Yipee Yehey).

less than a year after its launch last February 12, 2011. The grand finals of “My Girl“, which will be held at the AFP Theater will be one of the hightlights of Happy Yipee Yehey last episode.

Rumored surface that Happy Yipee Yehey will be replaced by a new noontime show called “Palibhasa Tanghali” which will be hosted by the original Palibhasa Lalake stars like Richard Gomez, John Estrada, and Joey Marquez.

The rumor could have stemmed from the recent signing of Richard Gomez and Joey Marquez with ABS-CBN. If this is true, is this will be a one good competitor to the Philippines’ longest-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga!”?
