PAGASA raises rainfall warning signal to ‘Yellow” as of 1:45 PM, August 8, 2012

PAGASA raises rainfall warning signal to ‘Yellow’ as of 1:45 PM on August 8, 2012.

“Heavy rainfall (8-15 mm/hr) was recorded over Metro Manila for the past hour.”

“Moderate to Heavy (5-15 mm/hr) rains is expected over Metro Manila with occasional Intense (16-20 mm/hr) rains within the next 2 hours” The RWS issued by PAGASA at 11:20 AM on August 8, 2012 stated.

“POSSIBLE FLOODING in low-lying areas and those located near the river channels.” it said.

PAGASA advised to TAKE PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES and WATCH OUT for the next updates.
