London Olympics 2012 medal count: USA finishes on top with 46 gold medals, China second, Britain third

The London 2012 Summer Olympics has just finished with the final Olympics gold medal being won by Laura Asadauskaite of Lithuania in the Women’s Modern Pentathlon event.

United States of America (USA) led the final Olympic medal count, below is the screenshot of the Top 20 in the medal count, having its last day of the London Olympics after two weeks of sports competition, which will be followed by a spectacular closing ceremony.

USA had a total of 104 medals won with 46 of them are gold, and 29 each for silver and bronze. China won 38 gold medals, 27 silver medals, and 22 bronze medals, for a total of 87 medals; or 17 medals behind USA while Britain landed on the third spot with the most number of gold medals won, winning 29 of them, along with 17 silver, and 19 bronze medals; or a total of 65 medals.
