According to the NDRRMC in its August 7 bulletin, the government had already released almost P13 billion in relief aid to flooded areas across 11 regions for a total of 541,498 persons or 123,484 families, victims of heavy rains and floods brought by Southwest Monsoon (HABAGAT).
