There are rumors circulating that “Wowowillie’ host Willie Revillame will transfer again on ABS-CBN.
But according to ABS-CBN president and chief executive officer Charo Santos-Concio belied the intrigues that Revillame will be having a comeback to the Kapamilya network.
“That’s not true. We’re not in talks with Willie Revillame. We’re very happy with the ratings of [It's] Showtime. We’re very happy with Showtime,” Santos-Concio said in a press conference.
There are some reports that Revillame will end his contract with kapatid network soon.
Meanwhile, Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) gave a three months probation for the noontime show “Wowowillie”.
The board also subjected the show to a Strong Parental Guidance (SPG) classification to take effect immediately.
In April 16 episode of the said show, one of the dancers which has a provocative outfit that catches attention of the said agency.
Prior to this, they also investigated “Wowowillie” after Revillame lambasted his guest co-hosts Ethel Booba and Ate Gay live on air. The staff of the said show did undergo gender sensitivity seminar.
