Gospel singer sues McDonald’s over glass in chicken

A singer filed a complaint against McDonald’s, claiming that she accidentally eaten a piece of glass while eating a chicken sandwich in lower Manhattan three years ago.

Jacqueline Simpson, a gospel singer in Brooklyn filed a case against the fast food chain.

According to a report, she filed the lawsuit against McDonald’s in Brooklyn Supreme Court the day before it was reported. She said that the piece of glass was bigger than a penny. She bought the sandwich in a chain in Broadway near the World Trade Center in May 2010.

“Now when I sing, I have a hoarse, rattly voice. I still sing alto, but I can’t sing soprano like I used to. I have to make a lot of calls for work, and I have to tell people that I’m not a man. Before, that never happened.” Simpson said.

Meanwhile, there’s no photo released about the alleged piece of glass that she found in the sandwich.

McDonald’s have not released any official comment on the said issue.
