Fil-AM Jessica Sanchez on Top 24 of American Idol Season 11

A young Filipina was included in the Top 24 of the new season of American Idol. I can say at this moment she is one of the early favorites of the judges, getting a resounding “yes” from the judges when she auditioned for American idol.

Sanchez is 15 years old, born and raised in Southern California, and is of Mexican and Filipino heritage. Her name rings a bell because she was one of the contestants of America’s Got Talent Season 1 when she was 11 years old.
