A 5.6 magnitude earthquake struck the Philippines on Monday, September 3, 2012.
According to The US Geological Survey the temblor a preliminary magnitude reading of 5.6 at 92 km Cotabato, Mindanao, Philippines.
The earthquake hit the area around 2:49 pm and it was felt in many parts of the country like Cotabato, Pagadian, General Santos, and Manila.
