As Dame Anita Roddick, Human Rights Activist, Founder of The Body Shop®, states “I just want The Body Shop® to be the best, most breathlessly exciting company – and one that changes the way business is carried out. That is my vision.”

The beauty behind our business. What we do. Why we do it. How we do it. And what makes us different.
We believe there is only one way to beautiful, nature’s way. We’ve believed this for years and still do. We constantly seek out wonderful natural ingredients from all four corners of the globe, and we bring you products bursting with effectiveness to enhance your natural beauty and express your unique personality. And whilst we’re doing this, we always strive to protect this beautiful planet and the people who depend on it. We don’t do it this way because it’s fashionable. We do it because, to us, it’s the only way,” she added.
BODY SHOP BELIEVES THAT BUSINESS SHOULD BE ABOUT MORE THAN JUST MAKING MONEY, IT SHOULD BE ABOUT RESPONSIBILITY AND PUBLIC GOOD.
The Body Shop has always believed in using profit for good. So in 1990 we set up The Body Shop Foundation, our charitable trust. Since we established the Foundation, we’ve donated over £11 million to more than 3,000 projects around the world. The Foundation deliberately seeks out innovative projects working for social and environmental change, driven by enthusiastic, energetic groups at grass roots level. People who, because of the pioneering nature of their work, would find it hard to get conventional funding elsewhere. Currently the Foundation is funding organisations working on education in Zambia, environmental conservation in Romania, as well as domestic violence initiatives across Europe and child trafficking in Asia.

Girls, isn’t that exciting enough?! Ohhh la la!
Just recently, Body Shop has organized a ‘Thanksgiving Party” for fashion and beauty bloggers held at Glorietta 3 branch. The place was so festive once you enter the shop, you couldn’t help but to really feel the warmth, joy and the Christmas spirit this season brings.

We also had a make-over opp courtesy of Body Shop of course and that's Carissa, the very bubbly make-up artist and she's really good!
Special thanks to Joy Mendiola of www.occasionsofjoy.com for the invite, Jenny Roxas of www.joyfullifeofjen.blogspot.com, Honeylyn Bonagua of www.honeyshomeleisure.blogspot.com and Nora Aquino of www.morethanjustasahm.com for the pics I’ve used here.
