Black Friday 2013 is fast approaching.
The retailer has iPad Air tablet availability at different prices. The costs begin at $479 for the lowest-priced tablet, and move closer to $1,000, depending on which version of the latest tech gadget consumers want for themselves or as a gift for others. It also prompts many to wonder if the retailer will be offering any special Black Friday incentives on the device.
According to ZDNet report 16 gigabyte Wi-Fi version of the iPad Air tablet in space gray or black has a price of just $479.00. That makes is $20 less than other retailers are selling the tablet for, but it sounds like some of them will start to price match. The report notes that Apple and Target are at least two competitors who don’t want to miss out on the holiday shopping season, so they will offer a similar price. Best Buy offers price-matching for items with proof of the discount.
Walmart started making the iPad Air available, the Walmart website also began “Earlybird Online Specials” for shoppers. These included the iPad Mini which was priced at just $299, compared to $329 on other sites like Amazon.com. The sales page also offered iPods, HDTV’s, tablets by other manufacturers and more.
In the past Black Friday sales, Walmart usually gives various gift cards along with Apple electronics devices such as iPods or iPads. The same has been true for Target and other retailers. It’s unlikely that there will be any deep discounts or price reductions on this particular tablet heading into the holidays, but it’s possible the earlier models could see some nice sales prices.
