Andi will again give life to another komiks classic. Galema, the daughter of Zuma, is known for having a two-headed snake wrapped around her shoulders.
Anak ni Zuma was written by Jim Fernandez and was serialized by Aliwan Komiks from 1976 to 1984.
It is one of the longest running series in Philippine komiks. A movie version of the komiks characters was made in 1985, with Snooky Serna playing Galema and Max Laurel as the evil Zuma (who also had two-headed snake in his shoulders).
According to Jaclyn Jose, Andi will start filming for Galema this April. The fantasy series will be directed by box office director, Wenn V. Deramas who is also known in doing successful fantaseryes like Marina, Kampanerang Kuba and Dyosa.
