The “American Idol” results are in and The 19-year-old waitress from Beverly Massachusetts, Angie Miller is going home. Kree Harrison and Candice Glover are the final two in “American Idol” Season 12.
Miller can barely make it through her performance of “Never Gone,” as she’s overcome with tears, just sobbing. Her family joins her onstage to be with her as she alternates between smiles and tears. This is vaguely uncomfortable to watch. We cut away as Kree and Candice walk over to join the embrace.
Randy Jackson announced that he was leaving the show.
“Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to the rest, after 12 years of judging on ‘American Idol’ I have decided it is time to leave after this season,” Jackson said in a statement. “I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It’s been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures.”
Some news also saying that Randy Jackson is not the only judge that will be out in American Idol. Most likely Season 13 will have a brand new judging panel.
