2012 ICAS-Math Exam Results

The results of the 2012 ICAS-Math Examination held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 in various testing centers nationwide and under the supervision of Educational Assessment Australia (EAA) of the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Global Pty Limited, are posted online.

It is developed by the Educational Assessment Australia (EAA), UNSW Global Pty Limited and is conducted annually in Australia and in 12 other countries including New Zealand, Brunei, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, USA, Philippines and the Pacific region.

They assesses five strands: Number and Arithmetic, Algebra and Patterns, measures and Units, Space and Geometry, Chance and Data. As ICAS provides extensive independent evaluations of students’ skills, knowledge and understanding in the core learning areas. These skills and understanding are important indicators of success in school and beyond, said Dr. Sofia Kesidou, General Manager-Assessment and Research at EAA.
